What Was Happening

Construction sites are among the most energy and carbon-intensive environments in the built environment. Plug power -  in the form of heating, fridges, screens, drying rooms -  accounts for up to 90% of energy use in modular site accommodation, and much of it is wasted.

Despite this, plug power remains largely unmanaged.

measurable.energy has a game-changing solution, but needed to create awareness, energise construction’s carbon conversation, and surface the commercial case for new tech in a sector often not typically looking beyond traditional kit.

What We Did

We developed and delivered a strategic, role-aware account-based campaign built around a key activation: The Plug Power Problem: Your Construction Site’s Unseen Energy Drain. A webinar designed to educate, engage and convert key decision-makers.

Our approach:

  • Defined segmented value propositions for both HQ-level ESG and Ops leaders, and regional/site sustainability champions

  • Created tailored email journeys through HubSpot and supported them with high-performing LinkedIn outreach and ads

  • Designed webinar content, copy and promotion strategy: from email banners to social media storytelling

  • Partnered with measurable.energy’s clients to bring real-world success stories into the spotlight (including Kier Group)

  • Delivered branded content assets to support engagement, conversions and post-event nurturing

This campaign didn’t just shout into the void. It was engineered for measurable progress across the funnel.

Outcomes

The results showed that when you surface the right insight, in the right way, to the right people,  they act:

  • 59 MQLs generated (31 attended live with a 55.9% attendance rate — well above industry averages)

  • 22.73% increase in inbound contact forms during the campaign window

  • 14.4% average email click-through rate — 3–7x higher than typical benchmarks

  • Follow-up emails achieved a 41.46% open rate and 17.07% click-through rate among attendees

  • LinkedIn campaign posts achieved top performance for measurable.energy’s channel, especially human-led content

Post-webinar engagement confirmed the quality of leads, with questions on ROI, safety, and payback indicating real buyer intent. Attendees remained active and engaged throughout the event — and pipeline conversations are ongoing with a number of high-value prospects.
